Unbabel uses Avenir Next World as our primary typeface.
This typeface offers support for more than 150 languages and scripts and allows us the flexibility to communicate in almost any language.

Accessible Text & Colors Combinations
When selecting colored text for colored backgrounds, color combinations must be accessible. Text colors should have enough visual contrast against the background for legibility and readibility.
Some examples include:
● Unbabel Blue Text on White
● Black Text on White
● White Text on Unbabel Blue
Refrain from using dark text colors on dark backgrounds and vice versa.

Illustrations
Our illustrations reflect our goal to foster harmonious interactions between AI and human language translation.
Unbabel illustrations are designed to reflect the relationships between Unbabel agents, machine translation, language specialists, and our customers.
Basic Shapes
The basic shapes represent how Unbabel improves customers’ and agents’ current workflows seamlessly.
The shapes uphold key concepts to Unbabel’s workflow: order, translation, verification, and completion.
The corner radius of our shapes is 1:25 of the shape size.
Strings
Strings represent workflows and convey connectivity, lightness, and continuity. We use strings to demonstrate the connection between Unbabel and its customers and agents.
Strings must follow the grid at 90 degree angles only. When using shapes on a string, make sure you:
❌ 1. Do not overcrowd shapes on a string.
❌ 2. Do not tilt, stretch, or bend shapes.
❌ 3. Do not mix the scales of shapes. Keep all shapes the same proportion and avoid overlap.
❌ 4. Do not place shapes on rounded corners.
❌ 5. Do not use too many colors and do not use gradients.
Character Illustrations
With basic shapes and strings, Unbabel has unique brand illustrations that are ready to use for marketing and branding purposes.
Our character illustrations are designed to be customizable using various components including hairstyles, poses, arms, and hands.
Characters Usage
When placing a character illustration on a background, you must use either the Unbabel primary colors blue and white or our pastel backgrounds. Do not place our illustrations on background colors other than the ones listed above.
Key Illustrations
Our key illustrations are pre-designed for easy use. Each illustration represents fundamental features that make up Unbabel, such as AI and Human interactions and customer service.
Spot Illustrations
Similar to our key illustrations, our spot illustrations represent the detailed components that make up the Unbabel brand.
