Following is a series of identity elements that all together forms the identity of Slottsfjellfestivalen. Please use with care and respect.

Introduction

Slottsfjell's identity is formed by researching both locality, Norwegian culture and festival history. We are proud to present a visual language that aims to act as both surprising and fun. The idea of the "New Slottsfjell" comes from the lively quote from Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson, etched into the castle of Slottsfjell (that translates directly into): "May the city that stands on the mountain, blossom for another thousand years". The adventurous, historical and mysterious aspects of Slottsfjell are added as the backbone of the idea. We aim to promote Norwegian mountain culture, in a blissful mix of runes, wordplay and music and visualize a new universe of extreme summer fun. We hope to awaken curiosity from both locals and people far, far away.

Logo

The logo is created from the type on Slottsfjell (that translates directly into): "May the city that stands on the mountain, blossom for another thousand years". The "Eye" is introduced to create a metaphore for a living organism always giving life to the surfaces it appears on.
