Packaging
The Sindig packaging concept.
To make the customer’s retail shopping experience as straight-forward as possible, we developed a packaging design system that has clear hierarchy of information and consistency on shelf, so customers can easily navigate and assess key information quickly, aiding their decision making process.
Strong contrasting colours create strong shelf blocking for high visual impact, simple illustrations or product photography allow easy package content identification.
The layout and pack grid is easily modified across
various product ranges.
The rules for the new branding and packaging
design are detailed in the extensive styleguide that stipulates grids, instructions and formulas so that consistency can be achieved by international suppliers and the result appears uniform when arranged in
retail environments, in-store, here in Norway.
Logo
Form follows function.
The Sindig logo is simple, clean, just like our procucts.
The main logo is black with golden letters, but when used on dark elements and backgrounds the golden logo should be used.
Never use black/white logos on packaging with 4-colour print
Size matters
The logo comes in 5 different widths, easy to meassure the right witdt on the differen types of packaging
These logos are only in black, using only one colour print witch is more sustainable.
How we talk is how
we are perceived.
For people to really listen, you have to have something to say. That why we should only speak if we have anything interesting for people to hear. When we speak, we speak clearly. We write in short sentences and with a simple language.

Typography
Typography helps the message come through.
Sindig brings our messages to life by utalizing two different fonts; one sans serif and one serif. These two work together to create depth and texture to our content.
Bohus Serif, is used for headings and short paragraphs of text. Bohus Sans, the Serif, is used for running text and longer paragraphs, due to it's readability. Together they create a fine balance of minimalism and elegant craftsmanship.

Icons are visual
guidance for words.
Words will never be as valuable as visuals, but sometimes to many images at once cause cognitive overload. To help balance this, we use icons. Communicatively speaking, icons fall right between text and images and can help create a visual aestethic where images are too much or not applicable.
Icons used for the Sindig dentity should be simple, easy to understand and visually representative for the product.

The colorsused for the Sindig identity is handpicked to communicate our values and beliefs. Our color "Beige" represent natural kraftpaper and gived Sindig a more sustainable identity
