Sen's vision is to democratize space using video to inform, educate, inspire and benefit all humanity.
Sen's mission is to stream real-time videos from space to billions of people, gathering news and information about Earth and space and making the data universally accessible and useful.
Brand story
Our future both on Earth and in space is a story about all of us. We need to be informed and in control to help shape what’s happening now and what happens next. But space remains in the hands of governments and business.
Sen’s solution is to democratize space using unique videos filmed in space so that everyone can learn about planetary change and space exploration—putting us in control as informed guardians of our home planet and explorers of space.
Visual identity
1.1 Logo
The Sen logo is composed of two elements—the eye and the lettering. The lettering cannot be used without the eye. However, the eye can be used on its own without the lettering for social media and merchandising as a distinct icon.
1.2 Eye
The eye can be used on its own as an icon of the Sen brand.
1.3 Isolation area
The isolation area—the minimum clear space around the logo—can be determined by using the pupil element of the eye as shown.
1.4 Usage
The Sen logo can be used as a solid black or white. The white version of the logo has been optically adjusted to compensate for the illusion of weight gain when deployed as white. Do not use the solid black logo and convert to white, use only the correct white version included in the download pack.
1.5 Social Media Icons
Social media icons can be square or circular. Padding is required as shown to determine the size of the eye icon within the selected governing shape.
1.6 Logo misuse
It is important to maintain the integrity of the Sen logo. Do not:
1. Add effects such as drop shadows
2. Make 3 dimensional
3. Distort, skew or otherwise alter
4. Stack
5. Colourise
6. Trivialise
7. Add gradients
8. Introduce secondary elements
9. Use the lettering without the eye
10. Change the size of one element
11. Slant
12. Change the lettering.
1.7 Colours
The Sen logo is colour agnostic and is primarily used in black or white. These additional colours can be used:
1.8 Typographgy
Montserrat and Oswald fonts are used and can be downloaded from fonts.google.com
For email and documents the system font Arial is used.hould be used.
1.9 Case sensitivity & pronunciation
Sen should be written with an uppercase 'S' and lowercase 'en' to make it clear the brand is pronounced as a word and not as individual letters SEN. Do not write Sen as SEN.
1.10 Downloads
Download the Sen zip file containing the positive and negative versions of the logo and eye for print and digital.
Merchandise
The eye can be coloured using colours from the Sen colour palette. Lighter colours should use the reversal version of the eye which has been adjusted to account for the optical illusion of additional weight of a light colour.
