Ovation Brand
Guidelines
We have developed this guide to assist you in the creative handling of the Ovation brand. Whether you’re a product developer, partner, designer or other, the guide contains all the branding essentials you need to get started. Please note that the Ovation logo and brand assets are proprietary. By using any logos or other assets, you automatically acknowledge and accept the use requirements described in this brand guide.
Company description
Ovation offers US technology solutions built specifically for running businesses. Our point of sale and payroll products empower businesses with built-for-purpose technologies that put them on the path to success. Businesses trust Ovation technology to help them make money, manage employees, engage customers and make every day work better.
Ovation Payroll, Powered by Heartland
The Ovation brand is a part of the Global Payments family, and the payroll application is run on the Heartland software platform. For the Ovation Payroll Product only, each first mention (and only first mention) in body copy should include the identifier - “Ovation Payroll, powered by Heartland.”
NOTE: The identifier is not a part of the Ovation logo. It should not be visually connected or "locked up" to the actual logo in any case.
Boilerplate
The Ovation brand offers point of sale and payroll solutions for entrepreneurs and businesses that need people-centered technology to make money, manage employees and engage customers. Ovation is a US-based brand within the Global Payments family, delivering technology solutions trusted by thousands of merchants to help them run their businesses better. Unlike other providers who focus only on one part of a merchant’s business, Ovation offers a complete range of business management solutions and services that simplify your tech stack. Ovation puts businesses on the path to success by ensuring that every merchant has a trusted local contact for excellent support. For additional information, please visit www.Ovation.us.
Logo
Our logo is our bold first impression and what makes us stand out from the crowd. It is strong, grounded and approachable. It includes a unique element that alludes to both the growth and progress that our products deliver for our customers as well as the connectivity of our technology and people. It is vital to use and reproduce our branding properly to maintain the respect and quality our brand embodies.
Minimum size
In order to maintain legibility, ensure the logo is not sized below the minimum sizing specifications.
Clear space
To preserve the integrity of the logo, careful attention should be placed on the clear space surrounding the lockup, defined by the “N” in the logo. Photographs, illustrations, typography or other visual elements should not violate the minimum clear space area. When practical, additional space is preferred around the combined logotypes.

Color
Color plays an important role in establishing the perception and position of a brand identity within the customer’s mind and competitive landscape. For these reasons, the Ovation logotype should be presented consistently using the primary color palette, including black and white.
