Logo
To the rigth you can download the logo files of Oslo Business Regions primary and secondary logos. Below you can read about how to use the logo correctly.
Primary logo
This is Oslo Business Regions primary logo, and it consists of an "os!o" wordmark and the full organisation name below.
When other brands need to use Oslo Business Regions logo in their communication, they have to use the primary logo.
Primary logo
for smaller sizes
There are two version of the primary logo, to ensure the legibility of the logo in smaller sizes. Use the version for smaller sizes when the size affects the legibility.
Logo Colors
The Oslo Business Region logos can be used in Black, White and any of the OBR brand colors (see the Colors section for the correct color codes).
Don't use two or more colors on the logo, it should always consist of only one color.
Secondary logo
The secondary logo consists of only the "os!o" wordmark, and can be used when it's already clear that what is being communicated is from Oslo Business Region, or when you want to emphasise Oslo in the communication.
It should only be used in Oslo Business Regions own communication platforms.
Secondary logo
with full name
This version of the secondary logo should only be used when there is a specific need for a horisontal logo with the full organisation name, and only in Oslo Business Regions own communication platforms.
Clearspace
When using the logo, make sure to leave a clear space between the logo and other elements. The logo files you download here already has the required amount of clear space implemented, but you can also use the height of the "o" in the logo to measure it.
This method can be used for all logo versions.
Tiger Mascot
In norwegian poet Bjørnstjerne Bjørnsons poem "Siste sang (Godt mot)", Oslo is described as "Tigerstaden".
Use of the mascot
The Oslo Business Region tiger mascot is flexible and scaleable, with few rules on how it should be used.
Use of the mascot on social media platforms and brand merch is encouraged. The mascot can also function as a messenger of announcements and information.
The mascot can be used both on light and dark backgrounds, and should be used in the OBR brand colors (see the Colors section for the correct color codes).
Colors
Colors are an important aspect of Oslo Business Regions brand identity, and the vibrant colors of the brand palette should play an important role in the visual communication.
Color Palette
The brand palette consists of two dark tones, three midtones and two light tones. This makes it easy to combine the different colors and create good contrast in color compositions.
The brand colors should be supplemented with black and white, but black should not be used on large elements or as a background. Use OBR Dark Blue or OBR Dark Pink if you need a dark background.
The brand colors must always be used with the correct color values as given below.

Typography
Oslo Business Region use the type family Circular for their brand typography. It is important to ensure that the correct typeface is being used, you can download the font files on the right.
Circular
Circular is a type family designed by Lineto, and consists of multiple styles and weights. Oslo Business Region use Circular Light, Circular Book, Circular Medium, Circular Bold and Circular Black in their communication.
The combinations of weights makes the type family flexible, but it's still important to limit the number of different weights used on the same surface, to ensure a clear hierarchy.
Hierarchy
Typographic hierarchy makes the information more accessible for the reader. Use contrast in weight and size to create a hierarchy.
Body copy should use Circular Light, or Circular Book if the Light version is too thin.
Subheadings and highlighted text should use Circular Medium or Bold, depending on the size of the text.
Headings should also use Circular Medium or Bold on standard text, but Circular Black og Light can be used to create an expressive look.
Headings and titles should always be capitalized. Avoid all-caps.
Graphic Elements
Use soft shapes to add contrast and colors to the Oslo Business Region communication.
Use of elements
A selection of organic shapes are developed for the Oslo Business Region brand identity.
They should be used to add contrast and color to the communication surfaces.
The elements should be used in large sizes, and the shapes should always span from the edges of a format. They should be used in the OBR brand colors (see the Colors section for the correct color codes).
