MGM Brand Assets

Logos

Our logos are some of the most recognizable in the world thanks to Leo, our Lion. To maximize the impact of our logo, it’s important to use the right version for the right purposes, the right size and even the right color. This section will help you make that happen.

Usage

The Full Color Logo is to be used on all official materials where color can be accepted. This is the main asset and should always be the first choice for all marketing usage.

Do

✓ Ensure legibility and contrast

✓ Only use the provided files above

Don't

✕ Print: Use it below 3 inches wide in print. For any usage smaller, use the Monogram

X  Digital: Use it below 288px wide. For any usage smaller, use the Monogram

✕ Rotate, stretch, crop or otherwise alter the logo in anyway

Usage

The One Color Logo is to be used on all official materials when the full color cannot be accepted. This is a main asset and should be the second choice for all marketing usage.

Do

✓ Ensure legibility and contrast

✓ Use only in the provided file types above

✓ Use the Black One Color Logo when background is lighter than the logo 

✓ Use the White One Color Logo when background is darker than the logo 

Don't

✕ Print: Use it below 3 inches wide in print. For any usage smaller, use the Monogram

X  Digital: Use it below 288px wide. For any usage smaller, use the Monogram

✕ Rotate, stretch, crop or otherwise alter the logo in anyway

✕ Invert colors of the one color logo. For example, making inside of Leo or the mask's mouth white as opposed to black

Leo The Lion

Usage

Leo The Lion is to be used on all official materials when the full logo cannot be accepted. The official monogram brand assets are Black, White and Gold, but the monogram can take on any color. This is an asset to have fun with on materials.

Usage

Mask & Laurels

Usage

The Mask & Laurels are to be used on all official materials. The official Mask & Laurels brand assets are Black, White and Gold, but the wordmark can take on any color.

Usage

Usage

Ars Gratia Artis / Art For Art's Sake is to be used on all official materials. The official Ars Gratia Artis / Art For Art's Sake brand assets are Black, but the wordmark can take on any color.

AV Logo

Usage

The AV logos are to be used for in-theater, television, promos, and ads. Any exceptions, edits or changes to them must be approved prior to implementation.

✓ Use them in front of, or at the end of marketing materials and content

✕ Trim or edit them down

✕ Start or end at a different place

Metro-Mayer is our serif typeface. It incorporates subtle cues that reference the typography of our logo. Use it for headlines or anything that needs to stand out.
